Education Minnesota Endorses Isaacson for State District 42B

Education Minnesota this week endorsed Jason Isaacson for election to the Minnesota House in District 42B.

Isaacson, of Shoreview, works as a communication instructor at Century College in White Bear Lake. House 42B includes that section of Roseville that is north and east of County Road C and Snelling Avenue.

“Education Minnesota is proud to stand with Jason Isaacson as he runs for Minnesota House in District 42B. As a Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) member at one of our two-year public community and technical colleges, he will bring his talent to the legislative process to advocate for the people of Minnesota,” MSCF President Greg Mulcahy said in a statement.

Isaacson was endorsed by the DFL at the District 42 convention on March 31. He defeated Tammy Pust, currently a member of the Roseville City Council, on the third ballot. Isaacson has worked on several DFL campaigns during the past decade.

Education Minnesota represents 70,000 people including teachers and educational support professionals in Minnesota’s public school districts, faculty members at Minnesota’s community and technical colleges and University of Minnesota campuses in Duluth and Crookston, retired educators and student teachers.
