Family Night, Night To Unite in Roseville

The annual Police Department-related events are scheduled tonight and Tuesday.

Editor's Note: The following announcement is from the city of Roseville's weekly news update:

The city of Roseville is holding its annual Family Night Out in Central Park today (Monday, Aug. 6).  The fun begins at 5 p.m.

"It’s our way to thank you for your support throughout the year. Police officers and firefighters will meet with you and offer crime prevention and fire safety tips, and the K-9 officers will provide a special demonstration.

There also will be a free a free petting zoo, face painting and fun for everyone. Concessions will be available.
On Tuesday (Aug 7),  the city is encouraging residents to celebrate Night to Unite. Turn on your porch lights, come outside and get to know your neighbors and welcome new residents to your block.

Night to Unite is sponsored by the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association, AAA of Minnesota/Iowa and local law enforcement communities."
