Fishing Opener in Roseville
Where can you go to bait your line and try your hand at landing those big fish?

With Minnesota's fishing opener now underway, where in the Land of 10,000 Lakes can you go to in Roseville to try your luck?
Lonnie Brokke, Roseville parks and recreation director, suggests these places in the community:
- Lake Bennett, which is adjacent to the main section of Central Park.
- Lake Josephine, 3027 North Lexington Avenue.
- Lake Owasso, which is north of County Road C between Rice Street and Victoria Street.
- Langton Lake, which has a designated fishing pier for kids. It is located at 1894 County Road C2 W.
Brokke said the state Department of Natural Resources stocks some of the lakes, such as Lake Bennett, with fish. That's bound to help your odds of making a catch. Happy fishing!!
