For Parkview Center School Math Students, It's a 1-2 Punch
Students from Roseville school score honors at mathematics contest.

Seventh and eighth-grade math teams from Parkview Center School in Roseville District 623 pulled down top showings recently at St. Cloud State University’s 45th Annual Mathematics Contest.Â
The Parkview Center seventh grade team placed first out of 29 teams at the recent mathematics contest.

Student Heather Knutson took third place out of 464 students competing, while students Eileen Schrot and Bianca Wang-Polendo placed in the top 5 percent and Daniel Yong, Jake Weiker and Grace Smith placed in the top 10 percentÂ
Meanwhile, 31 teams competed at the eighth grade level and the Parkview team took second place. Eighth grade student Sam O’Donnell-Hoff was second out of 601 students while Jeremy Baxter and Anna Hug placed in the top percent and Nick Muellner and Helen Larson placed in the top 10 percent.
