Update: Power Back On For 200+ Customers Who Suffered Outage

Xcel Energy's outage map shows that power has now been restored to some 240 customers in the Lake Owasso area of Roseville and Shoreview that lost electric service after Friday nights severe thunderstorm.

Strong thunderstorms rolled through Roseville Friday night, leaving more than 200 customers in the area without power.

Xcel Energy was reporting that as of about 9 a.m. Saturday morning there were some 240 customers around the Lake Owasso area in Roseville and Shoreview that were without power. The electric utility was estimating restoration of power at about 10 a.m. today (Saturday).

Meanwhile, there were a few scattered homes south of Highway 36 in Roseville that suffered power outages. Xcel was estimating restoring their power some time later today.
