Pronto pups, cheese curds, mini-donuts and pork chops on a stick, there is a plethora of choices to pick from at the Great Minnesota Get-Together.
As the 2012 Minnesota State Fair gets underway, the annual celebration of the Gopher state will offer be heavy on food.
From pronto pups, cheese curds and Sweet Martha's chocolate chip cookies to foot long hot dogs, french fries and shaved ice, the fair will offer its nearly 2 million patrons a plethora of food choices.
According to State Fair officials, there are more than 300 food concessions and more than 50 different foods on a stick. .
