Reconstruction Update: Closure of Highway 10 Section Near Roseville Delayed Again
Continuing winter weather forces postponement of temporary closing for reconstruction work, DOT says.

The Metropolitan District Office of the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) in Roseville said the closing of Highway 10 and Ramsey County Road 96 has been delayed again for reconstruction because of continuing winter weather.
In a press statement Monday, MnDOT Â officials said, "Weather permitting, the closure will begin overnight Sunday, April 21 and commuters will find these roadways closed Monday, April 22 for the start of major reconstruction at Highway 10 and Ramsey County Road 96.
"The closures are also needed for resurfacing of the Hwy 10 Diagonal between I-694 and I-35W."

The westbound County Road 10 bridge will be open from northbound I-35W only during the 2013 construction season. Old Highway 10 (County Road 76) will close at the south junction with Lakeshore Place but local access will be maintained."
When completed this fall, the new interchange will carry Highway 10 above County Road 96, MnDOT officials said. The new partial interchange will improve traffic flow and safety for motorists and the new Hwy 10 pavement will provide a smooth, long-lasting surface, they added.
