Rosefest Thursday and Friday

A rundown of Day 6 and 7 events for the annual Roseville summer festival.

Rosefest, Roseville’s annual summer festival, continues today (Thursday) and Friday, with a bevy of family-friendly activities.

Here is the schedule: 

Thursday, June 28

5 to 8 p.m. Taste of Rosefest  at Central Park Muriel Sahlin Arboretum.

5 to 7 p.m. Touch-a-truck. See the big rigs  at Central Park.

6:30 p.m.  Teddy Bear Band family concert at Central Park Frank Rog Amphitheatre. 

Friday, June 29

7:30 p.m. Roll In Movie, "Field of Dreams," showing at the John Rose OVAL

The movie is presented by the Roseville Genisys Credit Union

6:30 to 7:30 p.m. free indoor skating at the Roseville Skating Center.

6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Discover your parks-Random Acts of Recreation at the John Rose OVAL. Before the movie, get ready for jumping in inflatable bouncers, a puppet show, arts and craftsd and baseball relays.

Wednesday, July 4

1 to 10:30 p.m. Games, concessions and entertainment at Central Park at Lexington Avenue. A fireworks show is set for 10 p.m. over Bennett Lake.

The eight-day summer Rosefest festival began last Saturday, continues through Friday; then takes a brief hiatus before concluding with day of activities next Wednesday, the Fourth of July. Altogether, this year’s extravaganza offers more than 20 events.
