Roseville Battle of Bands Cancelled
City says not enough entrants filed for competition.
At least one casualty of the summer heat: Roseville's annual Battle of the Bands.
The city of Roseville announced today (Wednesday) that the Battle of the Bands scheduled for Thursday, July 26 has been cancelled.
"The city did not receive enough entrants to hold the contest for the best teen garage band,'' officials said in the city's latest news update.

Last year, the city had several groups competing the in the summer Battle of the Bands. The winner was Forgiven Drifter and Roseville Patch shot a video report of the event. to see the video.
