Roseville Council April 9 Preview: Update on HRA, Discussion on Peformance Management Program and Closed-Door Session

HRA embarking on new strategic plan.

The Roseville Council is expected tonight, April 9, to get a status report on activities of the city's Housing and Redevelopment Authority including the group's plans to embark on a new strategic plan.

In a memo, the HRA noted that it began work for a new strategic plan in  January and hopes to complete the process by June. So far it has conducted an online survey and met with key people in the community. the HRA said.

The HRA said its next steps include meeting later this month "to identify key issues and solutions." The group said it plans to attend a Council meeting in May to review its draft plan with it.

The Council is also expected continue discussion on a performance management program and, at the end of the meeting, to review a district court decision that struck down a city ordinance as "invalid and unenforceable." The Council is expected to discuss whether to appeal the district court ruling.
