"There have been complaints about Scott Allen," Karen Schaub, district director of public relations, told the Star Tribune. Her comment to the newspaper came after the District Center building had cleared of all Allen's supporters at the Tuesday night School Board meeting.

"So the status of the complaints is an investigation is being conducted and that Mr. Allen has not been disciplined in any matter, and at this point I can't say any more about it," Schaub said.

During the open forum section of the School Board meeting, several students spoke, seeking answers on Allen's whereabouts, the Star Tribune reported. Allen reportedly stopped performing his activities director duties the same week that Pauletti resigned. Representatives from athletic teams, the debate team and music department called for the return of Allen, a man they described as "dedicated" and "safe."

Only a week earlier, a crowd of more than 100 students and parents rallied at the parking lot of Roseville High School to support Pauletti. The rally ended with three Roseville High students leading the crowd in a chant of the name of Allen.

Pauletti was among the speakers at the rally and talked positively about the role coaches, teachers and staff play in the schools.
In response to an e-mail question earlier this month, Schaub told Roseville Patch that the district's investigation of Pauletti was completed, noting the coach had voluntarily resigned. She said state Data Practices act barred her from disclosing any further information.

Meanwhile, Schaub added the district had received complaints against assistant boys hockey coach Carl Hamre, that it had completed an investigation into the complaints and that "no disciplinary action has been taken."

Schaub said the School District's decisions regarding coaching staff will be made sometime before the next season.

Tuesday night, the School Board officially acknowledged that its investigations of Pauletti and Hamre were now completed. But that news was overshadowed by the situation involving Allen, the Star Tribune said.
The newspaper said Schaub declined comment on whether the district's probe of Allen was connected to the the hockey coaches' situation.
