Update: Investigation Continues In Death of Roseville Man
Victim is identified as Jay Barron, 47.

The Roseville Police Department said today (Monday) it is continuing an  investigation into the death of a man who had been transported and admitted to United Hospital on Saturday, Aug. 13. The man died at the hospital a short time later.
"The male has been identified as 47-year-old Jay Randall Barron of Roseville," the department said in press statement.
Roseville Police said they are working closely with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.

"The circumstances of the victim's death are unknown and remain under investigation by the Roseville Police Department’s investigation unit," the department said. "No further information is available for release and further details will be released when they become available."

"At approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug.13, Roseville Police were dispatched to United Hospital on a report of a Roseville resident who had succumbed to injuries allegedly received from an unreported assault incident which had occurred earlier in the week.
Investigating officers determined the victim had been transported by ambulance to United Hospital during the early morning hours of August 13th suffering from seizures and vomiting. During the course of treatment, the victim passed away.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office has tentatively ruled the victim’s death as a homicide and will be conducting an autopsy later this week to determine cause of death.
Roseville detectives have interviewed a number of the victim’s acquaintances and have executed a search warrant at the victim’s home."
