"Nearly all of the residential burglaries are occurring on weekdays when the home’s occupants are away at work or school. Many of the business burglaries and attempts are occurring late at night when the business is closed.

The residential burglaries typically involve the suspect forcing entry into the home using a side and/or back service door. Once inside, the suspect ransacks the home taking cash, small electronics and jewelry.
The area businesses who have been victimized include an auto parts store, a restaurant, a church, and a pawn shop. The suspects in these incidents are forcing entry into the business by throwing landscaping blocks through windows and then crawling through the opening.
In both the residential and businesses burglaries, it is believed the suspects may be younger and on foot. At this time, the department has no suspect or clothing descriptions to pass onto the public.
In most residential daytime burglaries, the suspect may knock on the targeted home’s front door to see if anyone is home. Should someone answer, the suspect may use a ruse of asking for a person who doesn’t live at address or claim he went to the wrong address and walk away. Please contact the police to report these types and other suspicious incidents."
Anyone with information on these crimes shouild contact Crime Stoppers of Minnesota at 1-800-222-8477. Roseville Police said you could be eligible to receive a reward of up to $1,000.
