Roseville Reminder: With Snow in Forecast, Exercise Caution on On-Street Parking
Snow emergencies not declared but plows spring into action when two or more inches of snow falls.

With the National Weather Service predicting the Twin Cities could be hit with a significant snowstorm Tuesday and into Wednesday, the city of Roseville has issued the following reminder about on-street parking and snowplowing:
Roseville does not declare snow emergencies. Crews begin plowing streets after two or more inches of snow has fallen.
Do not park on City streets if snow is predicted because you could be ticketed and towed. Stop at City Hall or log on to www.cityofroseville.com/snowicepolicy to see our Snow & Ice Control Policy
City streets are plowed regularly. Ice control generally begins when ice or slippery conditions make driving dangerous. When less than two inches of snow accumulates, salt and sand may be spread on the streets. When two or more inches of snow accumulates, streets are plowed.Â
