Roseville's Ben Johnson Band Headlines The Concert
Home town band takes the stage Thursday night at outdoor summer concert.

The Battle of the Bands was scrubbed, due to lack of interest. But a home-grown Roseville band will be filling the void.
"With the cancellation of Battle of the Bands on Thursday (tomorrow), we had an open slot!,'' said Debbie Cash, Roseville Parks and Recreation program supervisor. "This will be filled by The Ben Johnson Band, an original country band homegrown in Roseville. Show time (is at) 7:30 p.m. at the Frank Rog Amphitheater at Central Park.
The amphitheatre is located at Lexington Avenue and County Road C. The music show is part of the city of Roseville’s free "Summer Performance in The Park” concert series.

At 6 p.m. Sunday (July 29), the Titambe West African Dance Ensemble will perform at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre.
Altogether, Roseville is hosting 32 free nights of summer concerts until the end of August. Concerts will generally be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The schedule can be found at the city of Roseville website.
