Dakota County Drug Task Force agents tested the pipe and found trace amounts of methamphetamine.

Scherr later told police that she had used the pipe to smoke crack cocaine a half-hour earlier.

Scherr’s criminal record includes a 2007 conviction in Sherburne County for possession of a small amount of marijuana and a conviction earlier this year in Ramsey County for theft.

Scherr is free on bond.
