Roseville Woman Wins $100,000 in Lottery Raffle Game

A Roseville woman has started out 2013 with a little extra bonus: She won a $100,000 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle prize.

The Minnesota State Lottery offices reported on Jan. 3 that Katie Lewin, of Roseville, won the mini jackpot raffle prize. Here is the Lottery office's report:

Lewin said she was anxious to check her 13 Raffle tickets as the winning numbers were revealed on New Year’s Day. When they first listed the $500 winning tickets, "my numbers weren’t even close,” said Lewin.

As she started to lose hope, her husband reminded her that she was “still in the running for the big ones.”

Sure enough, one of Lewin’s tickets matched the winning number 530510 to win $100,000. “We were very excited!” she said as she claimed the prize at Lottery headquarters on Jan. 2.

Lewin purchased the winning Raffle ticket atlocated at 2164 N. Dale St. in Roseville."
