Saint Paul School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Saint Paul is September 5. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Saint Paul Public School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/19 - 10/20: No School for Students (Teacher Professional Development, Statewide Teacher Meeting)
• 10/27: Pre-K-5 and Pre-K-8 No School, Conference Preparation

November

• 11/16: Pre-K No School, Parent-Teacher Conferences
• 11/17: No School for Students, Parent-Teacher Conferences / Teacher Professional Development
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Holiday)

December

• 12/22 - 12/29: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/2: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/3: Classes Resume
• 1/15: No School (MLK Day)
• 1/26: No School for Students (Teacher Professional Development)
