Albertville Bank Robbed, Bloomington Credit Union Targeted for Robbery; Suspect's Description Similar to Shakopee Robber
The description of the person in each robbery is similar to the suspect in the Nov. 1 robbery of the Paragon Bank in Shakopee.

A man with a description similar to one wanted in connection with a Shakopee bank robbery last week attempted to rob a bank in Bloomington today.
At approximately 9:35 a.m., a man with a handgun entered the Richfield Bloomington Credit Union at 4025 W. Old Shakopee Road, according to a FBI news release. The man reportedly ordered credit union employees to move behind a teller counter and then demanded cash. One of the employees told the man the credit union did not have any cash available and the man fled from the bank.
Prior Lake Police Detective Chris Olson told the Prior Lake American Wednesday he believes the suspect is the same one who robbed Prior Lake State Bank on Oct. 22, in Shakopee on Nov. 1 and the First National Bank of the Lakes in Richfield on Nov. 4. In each case, the suspect has worn a dark ski mask and a black, zipped-up hooded sweatshirt, and has displayed a handgun and demanded cash, the Prior Lake American reported.

The description of the robber given Wednesday by the FBI in the Bloomington case is a white male, approximately 35 years old, approximately 5 foot 8 inches to 5 foot 10 inches in height with a medium build. The robber wore a dark ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and black shoes.
Another armed robbery was reported in Albertville, Minn. at 12:47 p.m. today, according to the , and local schools were locked down for a time while officers searched for the suspect.

That suspect’s description is similar to those in the previous robberies although law enforcement has not said whether there's a connection to the others.
