Mary Rose Schesso, age 84, of Shakopee, died on May 16, 2012, at St. Gertrude's Health Center in Shakopee.
Born January 22, 1928, in Shakopee, the daughter of Frank and Emma (Theis) Hennen. She married Roman Schesso on June 23, 1949 in Shakopee.
Mary enjoyed playing cards, dancing, needle work, spending time with her Red Hat group, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She volunteered her time at the CAP Agency in Shakopee, and at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. Mary also served school lunches at St. Mark's School and Shakopee Area Catholic School.
Preceded in death by husband, Roman; daughter, Nancy Mau; parents, Frank and Emma Hennen; brothers, Ervin and Melvin Hennen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lillian Hennen, Phyllis Hennen, Donna Hennen, Paul Rosen, Roger Marschall, Bill Hauer, Frank Krittenbrink. Survived by daughter, Amy Lee (David) Schaaf; grandchildren, Jill (David) Norby, Stephanie Schaaf, Nicole Riedel (fiance, Craig Neu), Richard Mau; 4 great grandchildren, Conner, Ethan, Bobby, and Morgan; brothers and sisters, Lucille Rosen, Dolores Marschall, Renelda Hauer, Bernice Krittenbrink, Sister Lalande SSND, Lorna (Richard) Paul, Robert (Rosetta) Hennen, Richard (Janice) Hennen, Joann (Ronald) Schneider; brother-in-law, Don (Shirley) Schesso; sister-in-law, Darlene Schesso.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, May 19, 2012, 10:00 AM, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 350 South Atwood Street, Shakopee. Presiding at Mass is the Reverend Peter Wittman. Interment Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation
Family will receive relatives and friends Saturday from 9-10 AM at St. Mark's Catholic Church.
Memorials
In lieu of flowers, family prefers memorials.
