The four-year-old horse broke well under jockey Ismael Suarez Ricardo and was able to edge out Western Fun by a neck. Cs Arc Light is owned by his breeders, Camelia and Sylvia Casby, of Shakopee. Vic Hanson trains Cs Arc Light.
“This horse is extremely special to me because this is the last horse that I own in partnership with my mother,” Camelia Casby said. “Following last season we found a small chip, since removing it he’s been a completely different horse.

”Cs Arc Light completed the 400-yard dash in 20.440 seconds. As a Minnesota-bred, Cs Arc Light also secured the winner’s share of a $7,500 bonus offered for Minnesota-breds, bumping his total earnings for the victory to $14,160.
Western Fun finished second for trainer Ed Ross Hardy and jockey Tom Wellington and Six It Up finished third for trainer Amber Blair and jockey Mark Luark.
