With the holiday season approaching, gifts of all shapes and sizes are being swapped between friends and loved ones from Shakopee to all over the world. However, one of the most important gifts a person can give is the gift of blood donation.

The Shakopee Police Department (475 Gorman St.) is hosting a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14. Those who give blood will be entered for a chance to win a 55" Smart TV.
