City Of Shakopee: DSI Offering Christmas Tree Pick-Up In January

The City of Shakopee's trash hauler will change from Republic Services to Dick's Sanitation Inc. (DSI) on Jan. 1.

DSI is offering Christmas tree recycling for an additional fee of $20. To have your real Christmas tree collected and recycled, contact DSI by calling 952-469-2239 prior to your usual collection day the weeks of Jan. 2 and Jan. 9. 

For the safety of DSI's drivers, trees that are 10 feet and over must be cut in half. Tree stands, ornaments, decorations, lights and tree bags must be removed.
