Shakopee residents can take advantage of free yard waste recycling at the SMSC Organics Recycling Facility on Sundays from Sept. 12 - Oct. 31. From 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., residents can recycle leaves, trimmings, food scraps and other organics at the organics recycling facility at 1905 Mystic Lake Drive S.  in Shakopee. This free program is available to all Scott County Residents, but valid ID must be presented.
