The documents are also available for review during business hours at Shakopee City Hall, 485 Gorman St., Shakopee.

The proposed development is a 62.75-acre area located in the northeast quadrant of Canterbury Park, bordered by County Road 83 to the east and Unbridled Avenue to the north. Swervo Development Corporation is proposing to develop an amphitheater providing for occupancy by 19,000 attendees, with fixed seating for approximately 11,000 spectators and lawn seating for approximately 8,000 spectators. Concession areas and beer gardens will also be available. 

Additional parking and new streets within Canterbury Park and south of the amphitheater will be built to serve the amphitheat4er. 

The EAW assesses the potential environmental impacts of the project. The comment period began Tuesday, Feb. 8, and comments are due by 4 p.m. Thursday, March 10.
