  •  Vacation of public drainage and utility easements as dedicated within Outlot C, Summerland Place First Addition for future development. Lennar Multifamily Communities, LLC is requesting the vacation of the blanket easement over Outlot C before they can submit an application for plat approval. 

  • Assessment hearing on delinquent garbage/refuse bills from Republic Services, Res. No. R2021-152. The Council is asked to consider a resolution that would assess property owners on taxes payable 2022 for unpaid refuse and recycling services from Republic Services, the city’s designated garbage hauler. As of Oct. 13, there were 240 property owners with unpaid garbage/refuse bills for a total amount of $33,891.03. The city will charge an additional $25 administrative fee on delinquent assessments to cover city costs.

  • Assessment hearing on delinquent false alarms bill, Resolution No. R2021-153. The Council is asked to consider a resolution that would assess property owners on taxes payable 2022 for unpaid false alarms. The city routinely certifies past due bills for collection with the property taxes. To date the city has been unable to collect $130 for false alarm services for one parcel. The city will charge an additional $25 administrative fee if the delinquent assessments become levied to cover the city’s administrative costs.
