Beginning Memoir (Inkslinger Free Writing Class)

Do you have a memory that shimmers in your mind or one that begs to be written? Do you find it difficult to get started? Through the use of prompts and free writes, we’ll get those memories on paper. We’ll talk about the basics of memoir and the details that bring them to life. You’ll leave this class with at least three works-in-progress and ideas for many more. 
Angela Foster is a poet and memoirist who lives in Pine City. In 2004 and 2006 she received the Carol Bly Award in Creative Nonfiction from Bemidji State University. She teaches at the Loft and throughout Minnesota.
