Exhibit Opening - "The Civil War: Minnesota Profiles and Portraits"

Beginning in 2007, St Paul artist Jay Wittenberg began painting portraits of the Civil War soldiers who served in the First Minnesota. The pictures on display are actual-size facsimiles of the oil portraits and include symbols that give more information about the subject of the portrait. 
This exhibit will be on display during open hours in the Shakopee Library January 20 through February 15.
