Shakopee's Farmers Market May Start Later Next Year
Get your last Farmers Market load of fresh veggies and more on Thursday Oct. 27.

Thursday is the final hurrah of the season for the Shakopee Farmers Market starting at 11:30 a.m. in the American Legion parking lot.
“Grab this last chance for tomatoes,” said organizer Sheila Stanton. “Some areas haven't had a hard freeze so we’ll still have everything there.”
Stanton said this year’s market was a success except for an extremely slow period after the market opened in mid-June.

“We’re thinking we’ll open the week after July 4 next year because there’s not much ready in June anyway,” she said.
The Shakopee Farmers Market, at the corner of First Avenue and Marschall Road, features vegetables, fruits, flowers, breads and more.
