Portion of Fourth Avenue in Shakopee Closes Next Week

The City of Shakopee has notified residents that a portion of Fourth Avenue will close around Sept. 11 through Sept. 20. 

The city's message is below:

Fourth Avenue between Shenandoah Drive and Canterbury Road will be closed Sept. 11-20 (approximate dates) to allow crews to perform utility work. Local access to Fourth Avenue businesses will be permitted from the east only, using Canterbury Road. The shoulder and right lane of northbound Shenandoah Drive will also be closed intermittently. Detour route is County Road 101.
