Highway 13 Frontage Road in Savage to Reopen April 24

The ramp from eastbound Hwy 101 to Zinran is closing starting Wednesday for about three weeks.

The frontage road just west of Highway 13 in Savage between 125th and Zinran that has been closed for construction will reopen to eastbound traffic on or about April 24, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The ramp from eastbound Hwy 101 to Zinran is closing Wednesday (April 25) for about three weeks as crews reconstruct the intersection and ramp. But all local roads and all businesses will remain accessible. The detour will be via Hwy 13 and 126 (see map).

Starting on April 23, be on the lookout for intermittent non-rush hour lane closures beneath the new bridge. Both directions of Hwy 13, and the turn lane from eastbound Hwy 101, will be closed in increments to protect traffic as crews paint, remove temporary formwork and conduct other work on the new bridge spanning Hwy 13.
