Lane and Ramp Closures at the Highway 169/I-494 Interchange Tonight Through Saturday

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is getting closer to the opening of some of the new flyover ramps at the interchange.

There are some activities left that will necessitate the following closures tonight and tomorrow:

• Aug. 23: The loop ramp from northbound Hwy 169 to westbound I-494 will close at 11:45 p.m. for overhead sign installation. Access to westbound I-494 will be available via Hwy 212. In addition, lane closures on eastbound I-494 between Prairie Center Drive and East Bush Lake Road will begin at 7 p.m. (the roadway will be reduced to a single lane at 10 p.m.). The ramp and all but one lane will reopen by 5 a.m. tomorrow, Aug. 24.
• Aug. 24: One lane on eastbound I-494 will remain closed throughout the day, and the roadway will be reduced to a single lane at 10 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25.
