Portion of Highway 13 to Close for Four Days

Drivers should plan to use an alternate route next week, when construction will cut off access to the Highway 13 near Interstate 35W.

Drivers beware.

The left lanes of both southbound and northbound Highway 13 will be closed next week. The stretch between County Road 5 and the southbound I-35W exit/entrance ramps will be cut off from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on May 28 through May 31.

The double left turn lane on westbound Highway 13 will also be reduced to a single left turn lane.

CR 5 is closed from Williams Drive/Greenwood Drive to the area just south of Highway 13. Drivers are advised to use the posted detour. South of Williams Drive/Greenwood Drive, CR 5 has been reduced to a single lane in each direction and shifted to the west half of the roadway. The intersection of Williams Drive/Greenwood Drive and CR 5 has been turned into a four-way stop.
