Road Closures to Begin on Eagle Creek this Friday
Starting this week, Eagle Creek will be subject to periodic closures due to a sewer rehabilitation project.

Residents around Eagle Creek Boulevard can expect interruptions to both foot and vehicle traffic in the months to come.
This Friday the Metropolitan Council will begin rehabilitation work on the regional sanitary sewer system stretching from Chaska to Shakopee. The section of pipe in question runs along the south side of Highway 169, west of County Road 83. The project will last through August, with "."

- Friday, April 26: Eastbound right lane will be closed; short, intermittent road closures are possible.
- Saturday, April 27: Crews will set up temporary barricades, possibly affecting traffic.
- Monday, April 29: Crews will temporarily close the eastbound-right lane to remove the temporary barricades and set up permanent barricades.
- Early May: Crews will start laying sewer piping. Residents may notice an odor, though every effort will be made to minimize the smell.
