Lenale Todd Minor, 55, allegedly grabbed a teen's purse and threatened her with a knife.

A 55-year-old man remains in the Scott County Jail on a $100,000 bond after he allegedly wrenched a teen's purse from her arm during a robbery on the streets of Savage.
Lenale Todd Minor, of Savage, is charged with one count of aggravated robbery in the second degree, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.
According to the criminal complaint against Minor, on March 16 Savage police were called to tanning business on the 5000 block of Egan Drive on report of an armed robbery. Once on scene, police spoke with a 14-year-old girl who said that she and a friend, 13, had been waiting for their ride home on the sidewalk outside the tanning salon. As they stood there, a man fitting Minor's description approached them. The pair turned to go back inside the salon, but the man yanked at the girl's purse. The girl said she tried to pull her purse from his grasp, and a brief struggle ensued.

The girl told police that she let go of the purse after the man threatened to stab her. The man fled to a silver Dodge car waiting nearby.
Based on a partial plate, police traced the car to Minor, the registered owner. When apprehended, police found two credit cards in his possession, one in the girl's name and one belonging to her mother.
