Scott County Highway 69 in Shakopee Closed for Construction
Construction is under way and lanes are closed until May 2. Nearby businesses, such as the Shakopee Trading Post, remain open.
Construction is well under way on Scott County Highway 69 between Highway 169 and Atwood Street on the west side of Shakopee.
As of Friday, April 20, the north and south lanes of Highway 69 are closed from a half mile north of Highway 169 to Atwood Street. They are scheduled to remain closed until Wednesday, May 2, according to the Scott County Highway Department.
However, access to all businesses in that area along along Highway 69 will remain open. The  at 723 First Ave. W. (on 69), is one such business and it, and nearby drive-in restaurant , are very much open. Customers are welcome to drive around the "road closed" signs to get there.Â
