Shakopee City Council's Closed Session on Fire Station Sale Nets More Brewery Negotation

According to Shakopee City Adminstrator Mark McNeill, "the net result is that staff will continue to negotiate with the micro brewery proposal."

The Shakopee City Council met behind closed doors Tuesday night to discuss the sale of the downtown fire station located at 334 Second Ave. W. 

According to Shakopee City Adminstrator Mark McNeill, "the net result is that staff will continue to negotiate with the micro brewery proposal."

At the end of July,  with a grand opening tentatively set for June 2013. 

The recently-formed River Valley Cooperative Arts, an organization that formed with this facility in mind, has proposed repurposing the fire station as a cultural community center.
