Shakopee District Seeks Nominees for 'Hall of Fame'
Residents will have until June 28 to nominate distinguished Shakopee grads for the honor.

The Shakopee District is now taking nominations for the Hall of Fame, which recognizes outstanding alumni who have achieved distinction in their lives or chosen field.
Here is the criteria for the awards, which is co-sponsored by the Shakopee Education Endowment Foundation:
• A nominee must be a graduate of Shakopee High, though in rare cases an exception may be made to this rule in the event that a nominee has made a significant impact on Shakopee schools.

• A nominee is eligible for selection only 10 years after graduation.
• A nominee should have a record of "exemplary achievement" in their career, impressive personal accomplishments, or positive impact on Shakopee schools.

Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on June 28. A selection committee will choose the finalists. Nomination forms are available online and the SEEF website.
