Shakopee Exec to Become CEO of North Dakota-based Farmers' Coop
The Minn-Dak Farmers' Cooperative has hired Kurt Wickstrom, current president of Betaseed, to become its new CEO.

A Shakopee executive will soon be making a move to Wahpeton, ND.
Kurt Wickstrom, president of the Shakopee company Betaseed, will become the CEO of the Minn-Dak Farmers’ Cooperative. He was recently hired to to succeed Dave Roche , who is retiring from the coop on Aug. 31.
The coop includes over 450 sugarbeet farmers, who act as both shareholders and suppliers for Minn-Dak's processing plant in Wahpeton.

Betaseed develops and produces varieties of sugarbeet seed. This summer, Wickstrom will cede his current position to John Enright, the current Chief Financial Officer, who was chosen as the new company president in late April. The change will become effective July 1, 2013.
