Shakopee Junior High Principal Leaving for Lakeville

Chris Endicott, principal at  since 2010 and who would have been principal at Shakopee Junior High West this fall, has been hired by Lakeville schools to assume the leadership post at Century Middle School.

"I'm confident in my abilities to bring a unique and valuable perspective to the students, parents and staff members of Century Middle School," Endicott said in a press release.

Endicott told the Shakopee Valley News that he took the job to be closer to home. Interviews are scheduled for next week to fill the school's open position.

Endicott's experience in education includes serving as a middle school/high school English teacher, coach and technology integration specialist. He has also served in two large suburban middle schools as an assistant principal and, most recently, at Shakopee Junior High School as principal.
