Shakopee Police Seek New Tips 10 Years After Man's Body Found in Park
A Facebook page is devoted to justice for Jonathan Easterling, whose body was found Nov. 24, 2001.

Jonathan Easterling’s body was found at Rice Lake Park in Shakopee on Nov. 24, 2001. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and  announced today they have resumed looking for tips in the ten year old cold case.
The 18-year-old died as a result of fatal gunshot wounds to the head. Easterling was last seen one day prior to his death as he got into a vehicle with an unidentified driver.
A Facebook page created several years ago is devoted to "Justice for Jon." One post from 2008 reads, "It's been 7 years . . I - DO NOT- believe that no one knows anything or did not see anything !"
