Shakopee Reminds Residents of Hunting Season Restrictions
The restrictions apply to hunting and shooting within Shakopee city limits.

Shakopee residents should keep in mind certain regulations during the hunting season. The City of Shakopee recently sent the following reminder of restrictions for hunting and shooting within city limits:
*Shotguns, BB guns and bow and arrow may be used only in the following areas:
- North of the Minnesota River and west of County Road 101
- South of Vierling Drive and east of Spencer Street (County Road 79)
- East of Valleyfair and north of County Road 101
*The hunter must own the land or have the written permission of the landowner.
*Firearms may not be discharged within 500 feet of a building or public road.
