Shakopee State of the City Address to Take Place Aug. 16
It's $20 for Shakopee Chamber members and $30 for members of the public to attend.

The is hosting the event as part of their August Business Builder Breakfast.
Attendees will join chamber members and community members to hear Tabke give the group an update on his term thus far, areas of focus for the City, challenges facing Shakopee and much, much more, according to a news release from the Chamber.

Dr. Rod Thompson, Superintendent of Shakopee schools, will also attend and speak on challenges facing the Shakopee schools in the upcoming year as well as covering some successes for the district.
This event is not free, although the public is welcome. It costs $20 for Chamber members, $30 for non-members and includes breakfast.
