Authorities have identified the crash victim as Dahn C. Le, a 45-year-old Minneapolis man.

The Minnesota State Patrol has released the name of a man who died Wednesday morning after he was struck by a semi truck on Highway 169.

The accident occurred at about 10:21 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 169, under the Pioneer Trail bridge in Eden Prairie. Dahn Le, 45, had apparently parked on the shoulder and gotten out of his car, a 2011 Honda Civic, when he was hit by the trailer of a passing Peterbilt semi truck. The driver of the truck was not injured.

According to the Shakopee Valley News, traffic was diverted from 169 onto Pioneer Trail for about two hours.
