Two Brothers Accused of Stabbing, Beating Man Over $20

Adam Robert Kiffe, 24, and Nicholas Alvin Kiffe, 22, have been formally charged for the assault in October 2012, which took place during a house party in Shakopee.

Two brothers from Jordan face felony charges after a fracas over $20 ended in the beating and stabbing of a man at a Shakopee home.

Adam Robert Kiffe, 24, and Nicholas Alvin Kiffe, 22, have each been charged with one count of aiding and abetting second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, and aiding and abetting third-degree assault with substantial bodily harm, the Shakopee Valley News reports.

The alleged assault occurred on the 1400 block of Roundhouse Circle, during a house party on Oct. 28. The incident began when another party-goer accused the victim of stealing $20 from him. The victim denied it, and the accuser left. About a half an hour later the victim was called outside, where the Kiffes were waiting. The brothers told the victim that they had come at the request of the man who claimed his money was stolen.

The Kiffes then attacked the victim, punching him until he was able to escape the fray. The victim ran to a friend's car, who drove him away from the scene. Once inside the car, he realized he'd been stabbed.
