U.S. Bank Opening First Shakopee Branch

U.S. Bank will open its first branch in Shakopee this March, according to the Star Tribune.

The branch will open near the intersection of County Road 21 and County Road 18 and employ nine people, who will be transferred from other offices.

“It really was a gap in the market we wanted to fill,”  Christine Hobrough, the  bank's Twin Cities metropolitan region manager, told the paper.

It will be the 97th branch in the Twin Cities and the first new one since 2010.
