Union leaders, state legislators and Cretex workers gathered in Shakopee on Tuesday morning for a rally to support the workers.
Cretex workers, represented by Laborers Local 563, have been on strike since June 19. The main issue, workers say, is the company's plan to end company contributions to pensions in favor of a 401(k) plan.
Around 350 people attended the rally, according to a union spokesperson.
Representative Keith Ellison and Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken could not attend, but they sent representatives from their offices to read letters.
"I'm proud to stand up for workers," Franken said in his letter. "Thank you for your continued strength."
