$2,000 Worth of Stainless Steal Swiped From Old Nestle Plant
The building is in the process of closing down.

Police were called to the plant on Aug. 8 after an employee reported that about $2,200 worth of stainless steel was stolen from a scrap bin.

Four large pieces of steel, each weighing about 140 to 160 pounds, were taken. The plant had been recycling the metal and making about $2 per pound.
Surveillance video shows at least one suspect driving up to the plant and driving off with the steel. The video has been turned over to police. No arrests have been made yet.
