A 'Thank You' From the Keller Family

As former St. Louis Park baseball standout Derrick Keller battles back from leukemia, his family wants to thank those who are thinking of him.

Keller has had and in recent weeks, and his family says the community's support means the world to him. Here is their "thank you" note, posted recently to his CaringBridge page:

I can't tell you how much your prayers have meant to us - but I can tell you some of the results.

The staff didn't tell us right off but those who didn't know Derrick didn't have much hope for him - they do now!

According to one of his wonderful nurses, Ashley, he has 40 hrs of being stable with just a little help with his blood pressure.  This is HUGE and we owe it  to all the wonderful staff at Amplatz Hosp. and to you for your continued support and PRAYERS!

Please don't stop praying!  His lungs were almost collapsed but today the xray does look better.  He will need the support of these machines for 2 to 3 weeks so the medicine can help his lungs clear!

We'll never be able to thank you enough for your prayers and support but we are trying to let you know how huge it has been.

God's blessings, love, hugs and thanks to you all, Linda & Bob
