Joel Koch, who served as an assistant girls basketball coach at and was an avid supporter of Park athletics, passed away suddenly on Tuesday night from a heart attack. Joel's son, Charlie, is a junior at the high school who played on the football and basketball teams this year. His older son, Alex, plays basketball at Southwest Minnesota State. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Koch family, as well as the St. Louis Park athletics community. Funeral service is 4 p.m. Friday, April 20, at .
